Xerox iGen4 Press, Full-Color Digital On-Demand Printing System, Expands Print Applications With New Features

Jan 25, 2012 TOKYO — Fuji Xerox has today launched the matte dry ink for its full-color on-demand printing system, Xerox iGen4 Press. The newly introduced ink provides gloss-controlled image quality, which enables the output close to offset printing quality, and expands the use of print applications such as photo-rich brochures and photo albums. Together with the 26 inch Large Paper Path (Note 1), an optional product compatible with paper size up to 14.33 by 26 inches (364 by 660 millimeters), users can develop A4 six-panel broachers (14.33x26 inches)(Note 2), while maintaining offset-quality printing with controlled gloss, which is required in commercial printing. This expands the range of expressions by dynamically showing the whole image of what is to be appealed on a large sheet, and realizes the development of effective applications with a plenitude of information.
